The 'parador' is composed of two 18th century palaces. the 'casa de los infantes' (princes' house), built by carlos iii for his children, the princes gabriel and antonio. it is classic baroque rectangular building, with rooms arranged around three indoor patios. next to this building we find the ancient cuartel de la guardia de corps (formerly the royal bodyguard barracks), today house of a convention and conference centre.this resort has been renovated according to the 1764 plans, as due to its ruined condition the faEnEnoade has been rehabilitated with traditional ornaments and the inside has undergone funcionality-based renovations.
