The Sooksomboon is a curious place, worth staying in just for yucks and giggles. Set in an old French-style building that used to be a police station, it is notorious for it is kitschy interior decor check out the orange-striped, carpeted wainscoting in the halls. Some of the bathrooms were a little cruddy, but the rooms are spacious, with high, recessed ceilings, tile floors, and good cable TV is provided here. The cheaper rooms are in a separate building and aren t as much fun.
